Biography

Dr. Peter D. Jacques graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO before receiving his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. He has served on advisory boards and committees for the American Optometric Association (AOA), Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), and St. Louis Optometric Society (SLOS). In 2019, he was recognized as the Missouri State Leader by the Young Optometrists of America and was recognized as a Top Optometrist in The International Association of Healthcare Professionals. He holds diagnostic pharmaceutical agents (DPA) and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA) certification and is licensed to treat visual and medical conditions of the eye. His specialties include advanced contact lens fitting including multifocal, gas permeable, scleral and orthokeratology lenses, eye disease management such as dry eye and diabetic retinopathy, and pediatric optometric management.

Dr. Jacques is a skilled and experienced optometrist with a track record of delivering high-quality services for individuals with all types of eye disorders and diseases and is certified in eye disease management, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Jacques also holds specialization in orthokeratology, scleral, and multifocal contact lenses.

Dr. Jacques holds specialized training in medical conditions of the eye including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. In addition, Dr. Jacques has experience in urgent eye care including emergency foreign body removal, eye pain, flashes of light and floaters.

Dr. Jacques also has a passion for treating dry eye. His expertise in state-of-the-art treatments include use of at home as well as in office imaging and therapeutics.
